Mussie Calmerfalk Ephrem
Mussie Calmerfalk Ephrem is a Swedish – Eritrean political scientist and lawyer. He has been a Swedish politician for almost two decades. As a human rights expert, he has been following the political development in the Horn of Africa for several years. He works as a legal and political adviser.
Roland Chauville is a passionate human rights and non-profit professional with ten years’ experience in leadership, fundraising, and staff and project management. He is the former founder and executive director of UPR Info, an NGO dedicated to promote the Universal Periodic Review (UPR), the largest international human rights mechanism. In ten years, UPR Info has become the world reference on the UPR. The organisation has enabled thousands of human rights defenders to advocate for their rights at the international level and it has established the largest human rights advocacy platform in the world, giving voices to hundreds of human rights defenders and NGOs from over 150 countries. Roland is a dual citizen of Switzerland and France and holds a Masters in International Relations from University Jean Moulin Lyon 3, in France.
Originally from Eritrea, Huda Bakhet worked for five years in Brussels at the European Commission where she implemented development projects in Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific. She was then responsible for communication and advocacy with European governments at the Zurich Insurance Group. Since 2015, Huda worked with AMIC where she develops and implements projects to support unaccompanied minor asylum seekers in Geneva. She has developed partnerships with companies, such as Hewlett Packard and BNP Paribas, for projects that support the professional integration of young Eritrean refugees. She currently works at the Audemars Piguet Foundation. She holds a degree in economics from the University of Montreal and a certificate in human rights from the University of Geneva's law department.
Christophe is what we call a "Slasher". Indeed, for more than 12 years, he has been assisting small associations, foundations and startups by taking care of their accounting and advising them on their development strategy. With a background in accounting and business management, he has also launched several entrepreneurial projects when opportunities arose. He has an extensive experience on the field in a number of countries such as Kenya, South Sudan an fields in international NGOs and non-profit foundations. Christophe grasps as many brillant opportunities that have come his way, with one common thread: accounting and management. He currently holds a position as a Application Manager at Retraites Populaires in Lausanne.
